Licensed Social Worker

Works with Children and Adolescent Individuals

Owen says: “In younger years of development, it can be difficult for children and adolescents to understand their emotions and cope with them. My hope is that in therapy, I can increase my client's emotional intelligence and ability to cope with their emotions. A dominant factor that contributes to children’s and adolescents mental health is their mindset. I enjoy using mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques to help my clients set goals and learn coping mechanisms when trying to deal with emotionally confusing moments in their life. I strongly believe that learning these things at such young of an age will stay with them forever and help pave their path of coping with their emotions the rest of their life. I look forward to working with them, and providing them grace through the process.”
