What Is Mediation — and How Can It Help?

Mediation is a collaborative, confidential process where a neutral third party helps individuals or groups reach a fair resolution. It’s an empowering alternative to legal battles, focused on communication, not confrontation.

We support clients through situations like:
✔ Divorce and separation
✔ Parenting agreements and custody discussions
✔ Division of property or assets
✔ Co-parenting communication
✔ Family disputes
✔ Business or organizational conflict

Our goal is to create a respectful space where all voices are heard, and where
solutions feel fair, sustainable, and rooted in dignity.

Common Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do both parties have to agree to participate?
Yes. Mediation only works when everyone involved agrees to take part voluntarily.

Q: Is mediation legally binding?
Once agreements are documented, they can be submitted to the court. While mediation itself is not legally binding, outcomes often lead to enforceable agreements.

Q: What if we can’t agree?
Our mediators are trained to guide tough conversations. If an agreement isn’t possible, we’ll discuss next steps and support referrals if needed.

Q: Can we do sessions remotely?
Yes! We offer virtual mediation via secure video conferencing for your convenience.
